Buying and selling

A list you paid for stays yours

Some curators put a price on a list they have really worked on. This is exactly what happens when you buy one, and exactly what happens when you sell one.

What a buyer gets

One payment, and the list is yours for life. There is no subscription and nothing to renew.

It keeps growing. When the curator adds something to that list, it appears for you too, at no extra cost.

Access is tied to your Kyurations account, so you open it by signing in, on any device.

If the curator later takes the list down or stops selling it, you keep it. That is the whole point of buying rather than borrowing.

What you cannot do is pass it on: a purchase gives you reading access, not ownership. You cannot republish it, share it privately, or resell it.

What a curator earns

You keep 70% of every sale. Kyurations keeps 30%, which covers payment processing, hosting, the pages your list lives on, and support for the people who buy from you.

Lists are priced in US dollars, between $1 and $999. Earnings are paid out weekly, in rupees, to the UPI ID or bank account you link in settings, converted at the rate on the day the transfer goes out. Every payout tells you the rate it used.

A payout covers sales that settled more than seven days earlier, so a refund inside the refund window resolves before money leaves.

Changing your price, or turning selling off entirely, never affects someone who already bought. What they paid, and what you earned, are fixed at the moment of the sale.

Who you are buying from

The list is the curator’s work and they are the seller. Payment is processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and handles card processing and applicable taxes. Kyurations never sees or stores your card details.

Refunds

If a list is not what its page described, write to support@kyurations.in within 7 days of buying and we will refund it in full. Refunded purchases lose access to the list.

Because a list changes over time, it will not always look exactly as it did when you bought it. Growing is expected. A list emptied out or replaced with something unrelated is not, and is worth writing to us about whenever it happens.

If something goes wrong

If a payment is taken and access does not appear, it will resolve on its own within a few minutes: access is granted by our payment processor’s confirmation, not by your browser getting back to us. If it still has not appeared after that, write in with the invoice number from your receipt and we will sort it out.
