Grounded in what you kept

A general assistant answers from the average of the internet. This one answers from the things you judged worth keeping, which is a different and much smaller corpus, and that is the whole advantage.

It searches by meaning

Ask for the thing you half remember. Retrieval runs over what a piece is about, not the words in its title, so a video you saved eight months ago surfaces from a description of its argument.

Every answer carries its sources

Answers are built from your items and cite them, so each claim opens the card it came from. Nothing is invented to fill a gap, and an honest 'nothing here covers that' is a valid answer.

It reads the whole thing

Not just the summary. Saved articles, PDFs and images are read in full, so you can ask what a forty page report actually concluded rather than what its first paragraph promised.

What is Ask Kyuri?
A chat that answers from the library you built rather than from the open web. It searches your saved articles, videos, threads, PDFs and notes by meaning, answers with citations back to your own items, and can act on what it finds: make a list, tag things, save a link, publish a collection.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
A general assistant answers from what it was trained on and what it can fetch. Ask Kyuri answers from what you decided was worth keeping, and shows you which of your items each part of the answer came from. The judgement in the collection is the point: it is answering out of your taste rather than the average of the internet.
Does it make things up?
It is built not to. Retrieval happens first, the answer is written from those items, and citations are index based so a reference always resolves to a real card. When the library does not cover a question, the honest answer is that it does not, and that is what you get.
Can it change my library, or only read it?
Both, and only when you ask. It can create a list, add or remove items, tag them, save a link or a note, and publish a list. Deletes are a recoverable soft delete. Reading is the default and every write is something you asked for in the thread.
Can I carry a thread into ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. A thread exports as a self describing block of text with the full transcript and every referenced link, and hands off to ChatGPT or Claude with the prompt prefilled. Gemini has no URL parameter for this, so it is not offered rather than offered and broken.
Can my own agent use my library instead?
Yes, over MCP. Claude, Cursor and any other MCP client can search, read, save and publish against your library with a scoped token. That is the same set of tools Ask Kyuri uses, exposed to whatever assistant you already work in.
Is it free?
Yes. Ask Kyuri is part of Kyurations, which is free, with no cap on how much you save and no feature on this site held back behind a subscription.
